we are moving.....

Well, it looks like our little family will be moving to Denver Colorado. Curt got the job and the pay that hecould not say no to. So once our house sells, away we go. Moving our family to Denver. Now, if we could just sell this house. Thankfully the new job has allowed him to work from here until the house sells. So farwell will soon be upon us. Goodbye Oregon.

We are really excited for this new challenge and adventure. I have always been a wild spirit and ready for change at any time. Curt on the other hand does not like change AT ALL. So I was supprised when he told me he was excited to go. I think this will be good for us and exciting. We will be able to make more friends and get a bigger house. And start a life that wee can hoipefully put some roots down and stick around a while.

So pray that our house sells and that things keep on moving for us. We are looking forward to it.

Emily's first field trip

Emily had her first field trip last week. We went to the Airlie farms Pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time, and I made a new friend as well. The weather was beautiful. Good times all around.

The first picture is Emily and her friends. Jade, Emily and then Halley.
Second picture is Gabby and Emily.
Third picture is Emily in the hay fort.
fourth is Emily at the top of the hay pyramid. This was actually pretty tall. I was suprised she got up there.
fifth is Em picking, well cutting stawberrys

She had a lot of fun, I'm happy that she has good friends in school.
Apparently, this put the pictures in backwards, so the numbers are reversed. So #1 is actually number 5 and such.

Katelynn's popsicle

Katelynn went nuts for this. I was eating it and thought it wouldn't hurt to give her a suck or two. To my not such a big suprise she went absolutely nuts. She started kicking her feet and flailing her arms all over. And we can't forget to mention the little grunts that she was letting out. It was obvious that she loved it. So she got eat almost as much as she wanted. It was so cute to see her get so excited.

Daddy the camel.....

Daddy and Uncle Monkey were giving horsey rides at cousin Matt's birthday party. The kids were singing Alice the camel as they went round after round around the house. It was so funny to watch them. The kids had so much fun. Check out these pictures. It was great.

pumpkin patch

We went to the Pumpkin patch this last weekend. we went with Grandma Nelson, Auntie Lindsay and cousin's Bailey and
Mason, The kids all had a great time. We didn't stay that long. It was so busy, but enough to spend some time with family and then go to another cousins birthday party. We had a nice family day.

Soccer time

As some of you know, Emily has started up into soccer again. She really likes it. I was really supprised when we went to practice last night she didn't even complain. Now the reason that this supprises me is that it was torechal downpooring rain. She was out running all over the field happy as can be. I thought at one point n time, "is this my daughter?" LOL I guess she can still suprise me. We came home VERY wet. I am the coach of her team, so I was out running in the rain with all the kids. Took me back to the good old days. I didn't realize how much I truly miss playing soccer. Anyway, Emily is starting her first fundraiser. What fun!!!! She is really excited and wants to sell more than anyone on her team. She is selling, cookie dough, cheesecake, pretzels and coffee. She is wanting to call everyone that she can to give them her sales pitch. It is pretty funny to listen to her. So if you are interested in supporting her on this "fun" deraiser, let Curt or I know. They range in price between $10-$14 a piece. She would appreciate any help if you want. The stuff does look really good though in the pictures. I will take pictures of her at her soccer game this weekend to post up for you all to see.

He loves his sister

You know he loves his baby sister when he is willing to share his toys with her. Her favorite toys are her brothers cars. She will try to take them out of the boys hands if they are not paying enough attention. Nathan will occasionally offer her one on his own will. He loves to crawl down on the floor with her and play next to her. Then he just leans over and plants big kisses on her head. He loves her.

little miss frumpy face

I bought Emily this new dress, she saw it and was not plesed from the beginning. I made her put it on and she complained that it itched. I like it. Of course she would have tights on, but nope. It's a no go. Miss Frumpy face was unwilling to change her mind. I guess it is going to go back to the Gap. Oh well
